Our speaker is attorney and author Gregory Moore. Mr. Moore served 13 years as the commissioner of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Founded in 1913, the SIAC now consists of 15 institutions in seven states, including Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College. Mr. Moore engineered substantial revenue growth and negotiated multi-year corporate partnerships, including Coca Cola, Nike, and Home Depot.
Mr. Moore is the author of Searching for Michael Jordan, the history of five high-school basketball stars over a 25-year period. The book examines why some young players realize their potential and others do not.
Gregory Moore has a BA in Political Science from the College of New Jersey. His law degree is from the University of Oregon.
